Prescriptions - Please allow 3 working days

Prescriptions for medicines are issued where necessary by doctors after a consultation and medicines may be obtained from a pharmacy of your choice.

Patients on long term medicines will be seen at regular intervals by their doctor for a medication review and if you are past your medicin review date you will be asked to make an appointment for such a review.

We have made it easier for patients to request repeat prescriptions without havnig to visit the surgery through the electronic prescription service. To find out whether this is the right way for you please read this leaflet Electronic_Prescribing.doc. If you decide to follow this route please let our reception team know so that we can set this up. You will need to nominate a pharmacy from where you wish to collect your medicine.
